Migration Template Reference

Last updated: 2026-07-09 Summary:

  • The XLSX template has seven worksheets, filled in dependency order: Accounts → Customers → Vendors → Products → OpeningBalances → OpenInvoices → OpenBills.
  • Dates are YYYY-MM-DD; amounts use a plain decimal point; files must be under 10 MB.
  • A CSV imports the Accounts sheet only; the XLSX imports all seven.

Download the template from the Migration wizard: on the Source step, choose eKapital template (CSV/XLSX) and click Download template (.xlsx) (ekapital-migration-template.xlsx). Each sheet ships with one example row. Column (header) names are exact — the importer reads them verbatim.

Fill the sheets top to bottom: parties before the open items that reference them, accounts before the opening balances that post to them.
